| Project Overview | Over the past year, RCWR partnered with Dumbo Octopus Consulting to host a number of Community Conversations designed to reconnect the organization with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across Waterloo Region. These events were not simply feedback sessions—they were intentional spaces for collective reflection, visioning, and leadership development. Together, they helped to reintroduce RCWR’s mission, build relationships, and gather the insights needed to guide the organization’s first strategic plan. Each session was grounded in queer, trauma-informed facilitation practices that centered care, creativity, and community wisdom. The format prioritized accessibility, collaborative learning, and the celebration of diverse lived experiences. |
