About This Event

Overview
Join us for a discussion on engagement, communication, collaboration, and volunteer involvement to strengthen 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
Overview
Join the Rainbow Coalition of Waterloo Region (RCWR) for a Community Conversation focused on strengthening how we connect, communicate, and collaborate across Waterloo Region.
As RCWR moves to implement new strategic plan, we’re once again turning to the community to help shape the next phase of our work. This session will explore what meaningful community engagement looks like, how RCWR can better reach people across the region, and how volunteers can play a central role in building a stronger, more connected 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Instead of a single facilitated session, the event will feature multiple small‑group conversation stations that you can visit at your own pace. Each station will focus on a different aspect of community engagement, such as:
- Communication channels and how people want to hear from RCWR
- Regional outreach, including Cambridge and the townships
- Volunteer involvement and emerging role opportunities
- Ideas for partnerships, collaborations, and community presence
You can join any conversation that interests you, move between stations freely, and contribute in the ways that feel most comfortable. RCWR Board Members and volunteers will be present at each station to listen, gather insights, and answer questions.
A volunteer‑fair booth will also be available throughout the evening for those interested in getting involved or learning more about upcoming opportunities.
